The world of Bollywood is full of glitz and glamour but a lot goes on behind the scenes. Whenever we see a successful actor, we at times forget the ‘flop actors’ as stated by the box office collections. These actors are often forgotten by the audience and the industry. Let’s see some of the actors who are said to be “flop actors”:
1. Arjun Kapoor
Arjun Kapoor is the son of director and producer Boney Kapoor and the nephew Anil Kapoor. Despite coming from a filmy family, with Arjun’s case it is realized that even if you have the necessary things and opportunities there is no assured success. Arjun started his career with the film Ishaqzaade in a lead role, opposite Parineeti Chopra. He worked really hard for losing his weight and on his acting skills for his debut movie.

The movie was received well from he audience and critics, and Arjun was seen a next big thing in Bollywood. But then nothing went as it was believed, many movies after one other.
2. Tiger Shroff
Tiger Shroff, started his career in Bollywood with the movie opposite Kriti Sanon in Heropanti in the year 2014. He got off with a lot of trolls for his looks and acting after the movie release but was appreciated for his stunts performed. He later on went on to do Baaghi opposite Shraddha Kapoor, which became a hit in the public view and he was praised for his action skills and muscular body. He later on went on to do many films in the action genre which is believed to have kept him restricted in the action genre and didn’t allow him to expand his acting range.His recent films were major box office disasters like in particular- Ganpath, Heropanti and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Still Tiger is relevant and liked by a section of audience for his physicality and action skills.

3. Uday Chopra
Uday Chopra is the son of the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra and the younger brother of Aditya Chopra. He acted inmany films, particularly under the YRF banner and was given good and lead roles int he movies but was unable to have mark on the audience. He was seen the very loved film Mohabattein, the film was popular but Uday was not able to gain his audience. He is particularly remembered for his role in the Dhoom Series , where he played a comical supporting role. He failed to leave impression with films like Neal and Nikki, Pyaar Impossible and Mere Yaar ki Shaadi Hai.

He currently is very far from all the movie business and lives his life privately, away from the glitz and glamour. He is rarely seen in public appearances during some events or parties.
4. Imran Khan
Imran Khan debuted in the film industry with the blockbuster and ever loved movie Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa in the year 2008 opposite Genelia D’Souza. He was seen as the quintessential boy next door, but failed to capitalize the fame he gained post his debut. He mostly worked in the rom com genre and critics believed he had restricted himself to only few genres. He hasn’t done any movies post 2015 and is away from the mainstream media. He is believed to return as a director but no latest news is there about it.

5. Arbaaz Khan
Arbaaz Khan never was able to establish his ground as a lead actor, despite coming from a very well known filmy family. He acted in few movies as a lead but the movies flopped and was seen rarely as lead. His famous appearance was a side role in Dabanng as a Salman Khan’s brother. He later went on to direct Dabanng 2 movie and now is into movie direction.

6. Harman Baweja
Harman Baweja made his debut in a dream launch from the movie Love Story 2050 opposite Priyanka Chopra, a sci fi romantic movie. The movie was a unsuccessful at the box office but Harman gained huge popularity for his looks and dance in the movie. He was believed to be the next Hrithik Roshan. After that he went on to do movie Wha’s Your Rashee? which also flopped. This was the reason for the start of the career halt Harman had. Despite having big industry connection he was not able to gain media buss and popularity.

7. Jacky Bhagnani
Jacky is the son of the Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani and debut with the movie Faltu directed by Remo D’souza. The movie gained popularity among youth, he went on to do movies like Youngistan and Ajab Gajab Love but never made a connection with the audience.
