“Why me?” That is the question I ask myself every night. I am tired. I am frustrated. I am sick of explaining my story to a new customer care agent every single day, only to hear the same robotic script.
But I am writing this because I know I am not the only one. Every day in India, simple, honest people are fooled by agents who use “Trust” as a weapon.
The “Long Game” (How He Trapped Me)
This didn’t happen overnight. The agent, Vahsu Gaur, didn’t just call me once. He stalked me for 5 months.
- Before October 14th: He started messaging me about an Overdraft at 1%. I said Ok. but not genuine I. want
Please dont trust this. without reading complete blog. if you see date of message its before 14th October.and I took loan on end of november it around gap of 45 days. I said ok but not show any interest becuase I dont in hurry and do not required any loan. He miss used this screenshot and defending himslef in bajaj by saying I already told customer. but this incomlete truth- The Daily Ritual: Every single morning, I would get a “Good Morning” message. He stayed on my radar, acting polite, acting professional. He built a false sense of familiarity.
- My mistake: Whenever I asked about any charges. He never reply on chat. he always called me on whatsapp. as you can see in the screenshot. because I trust him I always accpet what he said
- The Trust Factor: Because he had been following up for nearly half a year, I thought, “This guy is a genuine employee. A scammer wouldn’t work this hard for 5 months.”
That was my mistake.
The “Special Offer” Trap
One day, he called with urgency.
“Sir, today is a special offer day. If you do it NOW, your Processing Fee and Flexi Fee will be ZERO.”
I had a friend who actually got a processing fee refund from a different agent before, so I thought this was standard practice. Because I trusted Vahsu (after 5 months of contact), I didn’t ask for an official email confirmation. I just said yes.
The “WhatsApp Call” Evasion
This is where he proved he is a professional scammer. He never wrote “Zero Fee” in our WhatsApp chat. He knew exactly how to leave no paper trail.
Once the loan was approved and the money was deducted from my account, I panicked. I tried to call him. He would only call me back on WhatsApp.
Why? Because WhatsApp calls cannot be recorded easily. He knew this. He kept giving me excuses on WhatsApp audio, knowing I couldn’t use it against him.

The Mental Torture
Right now, I feel defeated. I call customer care daily. I explain the fraud. They transfer me. I explain again. They say “We will check.” Nothing happens. Meanwhile, Bajaj Finserv is profiting from the fees these fraudulent agents generate. The agent gets his commission, the company gets their fee, and the common man gets depression.
My Warning to You
- Beware the “Good Morning” Agents: If someone is overly polite for months, they are not your friend. They are waiting for the right moment to strike.
- No Written Proof = No Deal: If they won’t type “Zero Fee” in chat or email, they are lying. Period.
- Beware of WhatsApp Calls: If an agent refuses to talk on a normal line and insists on WhatsApp calls, SCAM ALERT. They are hiding from recordings.
