Kush Shah has been playing the role of Goli since past 16 years. He was one of the prominent members of Tappu sena. He has recently announced that he will be leaving the show for further studies. Fans were heart broken by this news.
A video was released by the makers in which they announce his exit from the show and thanked the audience for their love and support. New Goli was also introduced in the video. Kush Shah aka Goli stated that ” In Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah everything can change but Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah can never change. The actor in this can change but the character won’t”. Asit modi the director of show thanked Kush Shah for his constant performance in the show. He mentioned that how he spent his whole childhood on the sets.
Why Goli Left Tarak Mehta?
The reason behind Goli Leaving Tarak Mehta is continueing his further studies. Kush Shah who played the role of goli is 25 years old and now want to pursue his other dreams. This is the reason he has decided to leave the show after 16 years.
This is not the first time that an actor is leaving the show. In the past also main characters like Tarak Mehta, Anjali Mehta, Sonu, Daya, Tapu and Sodi have left the show for various reasons. Disha Vakhani Who played Daya Bhabhi left the show years ago due to her pregnancy and family. Shailesh Lodha and Neha Mehta the iconic duo of Anjali and Tarak Mehta also left the show for payment reasons.
Jheel Mehta and Nidhi Bhanushali who played Sonu in the show were either removed or left the show for personal reasons. One of the most loved child actor Tappu was replaced twice in the show. Actors who played sodi, roshan, Bawri also left the show. But still the show is running and has a huge audience.
Dilip Joshi who palys Jetha Lal in the show also bid a farewell to Kush Shah on his instagram handle. He stated that he enjoyed filming every scean with him and would be missing him. He wished him best of luck for future endevors.
