The movie is sequal to 1996 released Hindustani. Kamal hasan is in lead role of senapathy an old freedom fighter who turns vigilante who fights against corruption along with other leads. As the name suggest the movie is based on finding the truth of Godhara train fire after a complaint by  Nanavati-Mehta Commission.
